Q: How long will the trimmer run on a full charge?
A: The lithium ion vacuum trimmer can run up to 90 minutes on a full charge.
Q: How long do I need to charge the trimmer?
A: The lithium ion vacuum trimmer features "smart charging" and will alert you when the charging is complete. The maximum time to charge the battery from complete discharge is 90 minutes.
Q: Can I use the trimmer while it is charging?
A: Certainly. The lithium ion vacuum trimmer features cord-cordless operation, so it may be used while charging.
Q: How do I empty the hair from the trimmer?
A: The trimmer's vacuum canister can be removed for emptying or the top can be opened to easily dump the contents into the trash can.
Q: How much of the hair trimmings will the vacuum capture?
A: In testing, the vacuum trimmer was able to capture up to 99% of the hair during a basic beard trimming. Your results may vary depending on length and coarseness of beard or trimming technique.
Q: How do I keep the blade clean and conditioned?
A: Use our cleaning brush and 5 point oiling system found here.
Q: Can I use the trimmer in the shower?
A: No need, since the vacuum will keep everything neat and clean.
Q: How do I properly oil my blades?
A: For best results, put one or two drops of Wahl Clipper Oil on the blades only when necessary, or approximately once a month.
Motor bearings are permanently lubricated—do not attempt to oil. When oiling your trimmer, hold the unit with the blades facing DOWN and squeeze one or two drops of oil onto the blades. Wipe off excess oil with soft cloth.
NOTICE—DO NOT OVER OIL! Excessive oiling or application of liquids will cause damage if allowed to seep back into motor.
Q: Is the trimmer made in the USA?
A: Yes! The lithium ion vacuum trimmer is made in Wahl's Sterling, Illinois factory.
Q: How do I know which guide comb to use?
A: Always start with the longer guide combs first. You can hear it when it cuts hair, so graduate to lower numbers until the desired length is achieved. Remember, when you cut with the grain of the hair, the cut length is less than when cutting against the grain.
Q: Should I trim with or against the grain of my hair growth?
A: Depends on the look you want to achieve and the desired length. Longer fuller styles should be with the grain for sure. Shorter styles and/or really thick beards can trim against the grain if desired.

Q: Is there a warranty?
The Wahl Vacuum trimmer is covered under a 5 year warranty.
If your Wahl product fails to operate satisfactorily within five (5) years from the date of original purchase or receipt as a gift, Wahl will, at our option, repair or replace it and return it to you FREE OF CHARGE. Do not return this product to store where purchased.
Q. How do I remove the detachable blade?
To remove attachment, simply pull top edge of blade away from body unit. To attach, align back tab of attachment head to cavity on the inner edge of trimmer unit and push down on top of blade.
Should blades become damaged or dull or if you want additional attachment heads for your trimmer, you may purchase them form Wahl.
Q: What is the return policy/money back guarantee?
Wahl Vacuum Trimmer purchases carry a 60-day Money Back Guarantee, less shipping and handling. If you are not completely satisfied with your trimmer, you may return it within 60 days of purchase.
